William Craig Bell (12/24/1951-08/13/2021)
Billy was born in Moline, Il to Frank and Effie Bell, and moved to Madrid in 1952. Billy graduated from Madrid Community High School in 1970. After serving three tours in Vietnam with the USMC, he was honorably discharged May 25, 1973. Billy returned to Madrid and started working at the local roller-skating rink where he met and then married Christine (Bregar) Bell on July 27, 1974 at the Little Brown Church. They settled in Madrid and raised three children: Toni Ann Bell, Keenan William Bell and Damian Eugene Bell. Those three children created 8 grandchildren and a great granddaughter that branded with name “Little Grandpa."
Over the years, Billy’s hobbies included racing motorcycles, playing the guitar and singing. As he grew and slowed down his love for bowling became his passion.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Frank and Effie Bell, his nephew Gavin Bell and his
brother-in-law Keith Eugene Bregar. Bill survived by his wife Christine (Bregar) Bell. His three
children Toni, Keenan (Jennie), and Damian (Kristie). 8 grandchildren: Timon, Tanner, Jessica
(Drake), Allison, Keith, Kylie, Konnor and Kaylex and a great granddaughter Carter. His sister
Barbara Marring (Dennis) and his brother Frank Bell Jr (Marilynn).
A Celebration of Life has been planned for August 28, 2021 from 1pm – 4pm

Family will have a Private Internment at the Iowa Veteran Cemetery with full honors.
