Thelma was born December 6, 1932, to Elise and Jasper Garner in Maxwell, Iowa.
Thelma died August 24, 2022, at Wesley Acres, Des Moines, Iowa. Thelma married Lee Eckstein on May 19, 1952. They were blessed with 8 children, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her 7 children, Terry Eckstein, Cindy Luke, Janice Miller, Fred
Eckstein, Jack Eckstein, Penny Frey and Nickle Pauley. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Lee Eckstein and two brothers, Wayne and Dale Garner and step-son Steve Eckstein.
Graveside service on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11:00 am at Indianola Cemetery.
