Scott Tangeman, age 61, of Des Moines IA, passed away on July 14, 2023, after experiencing a medical emergency while driving his vehicle.
Scott is survived by his wife of 32 years Nancy Tangeman, his daughters Christina Parkey, Davina Haponski, and Jacqueline Morris. Scott and Nancy have been blessed with 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Scott was a veteran of the US Navy from 1980 - 1986. He later became a dietary director. His most current employee was Ramsey Village Continuing Care. He had a passion for cooking and was proud to provide great food to the community.
Scott enjoyed gun days with the family, quiet nights at home and playing poker with his friends and family. He was loved greatly, and his loss will be felt by many for years to come.
