Robert Lee Barnes, 69, a cabinet maker, died Jan. 20, 2021, at home. Mr. Barnes was born Dec. 1, 1951, in Grapevine, Tx. He had been a resident of Adel, IA since 2019 having moved from Haltom City, Tx where he lived for over 20 years. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, James William Barnes and Thelma Mae Wilson; brothers: Bill, George and Lonnie Barnes; wife Kathy Darlene Flournoy and wife, Kathryn Annette Barnes. Survivors include, wife, Deborah R. Dempsey; sons: Brian Barnes and Nick Barnes; daughters: Angie Miller, Christine Johnson, Casie Wright, Victoria Barnes, Jennifer Dyer and Anita Wagner; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
