Richard L. Leiknes was born May 21, 1943, at Lake Mills, Wisconsin, passed away December 25, 2024.
Richard was a loving family man. He was an amazing Father, wonderful Husband and fun Grandfather. He enjoyed time with his family, watching the Green Bay Packers and Westerns. Also on the top of his to-do list were fishing, golfing, listening to music and laughing. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a great smile with beautiful blue eyes.
Richard served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He and Jean were married in June of 1968 and had four children.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jean, 3 sons: John, Mark and Rob Leiknes, 1 daughter: Jennifer Brandt, 7 grandchildren: Hardy, Hatcher, Lucy, Josie, Brody, Leighton and Carver and a sister, Naomi Teitz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2025. Service information will be posted when scheduled.
