Randy L. Satterlee, 67, passed away on May 21st, 2022 at his home in Defiance, Iowa.
He was born to parents Fred Satterlee and JoAnn Askevics on November 26th, 1954 in Carroll, Iowa. Randy graduated from Carroll High School in 1973 and served in the United States Airforce and Army National Guard; he was honorably discharged in April of 1979.
Randy is survived by son Ryan Satterlee and step daughter, Amy Grove; his mother, JoAnn Askevics, and step mother, Fran Satterlee; his siblings, Brett Satterlee (Michelle), Deanna Andersen, Bobbie Jo Roberts (Ken), Debbie Mohr (Ron); and his four grandchildren: Eliana, Josiah, Jonah and Judah. He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. Randy was predeceased by his father, Fred Satterlee.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Carroll City Cemetery. Immediately following, there will be a “Celebration of Life” luncheon at Carroll First Church on Hwy 71.
