Melody was born in Des Moines to Ruthann Stone and Thomas Cowles. Melody had three sons; Bradley, Brian, and Dustin. Her love language was gift giving. She cherished the big and small moments with her grandchildren, like seeing their faces light up with joy when opening a new toy or shopping for a new outfit. Her endearing habit of expressing affection with the phrase “I love you to the moon and back" will forever live in the hearts of those she held dear, symbolizing the depth of her love and the warmth of her spirit. Melody was preceded in death by her husband Kevin Taylor and her parents Ruthann Stone and Thomas Cowles. She is survived by her sons Bradley (Nicole) Weber, Brian (Sarah)Weber, and Dustin (Katie) Weber and six grandchildren (Audrey 13, Owen 10, Boston 8, Elliot 6, Porter 4, and Bella 9 months). Melody had three siblings Don, Tina, and Craig and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life to honor Melody’s memory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or donations, we kindly request that you express your love to your cherished ones, as she believed in the power of love above all else.
