Margaret Ettore 79, of Madrid, Iowa, passed away on April 2, 2024. Margaret Ettore was born on August 12th,1944 in Des Moines, Iowa and was the daughter of the late Maynard Lemke and Beulah (Proudfit)Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brett Brayton.
Maggie grew up in Iowa and graduated from Dallas Center- Grimes HS. Maggie enjoyed working on cars, watching her children's sports activities. She enjoyed working with her husband Sam. Maggie attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Surviving is her husband of 38 years, Sam Ettore; four children: Kenneth (Lindsey) Brayton, Curtis (Lynn) Brayton, Babette Batten, Christine (Josh) Barbour; her brother Floyd Lemke; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
A memorial service will take place on April 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Perry, IA.
