Katy L. Quick (Thomas) was born in Des Moines on February 23, 1942. She passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Des Moines at the age of 82. Katy was a deeply compassionate soul, and her love extended to everyone she met. She had a unique way of making everyone feel like family, and in turn, she was cherished by many. She is survived by her husband, Richard, son Paul (Jennifer), daughter Tina (Blake) Richards, grandchildren, Jacob Quick, Mandy Burkett, two great grandchildren, Miranda & Parker Richards, and one on the way. She will be deeply missed.
