John W. Marchant III
11/7/1956 – 1/6/2023
John passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 66.
John was proceeded in death by his parents John W. Jr and Barbara Marchant along with his twin brother Charles William Marchant. John is survived by Sister Debbie (Jim Parker), Brother Robert L. Marchant, Sister Pennie (Gerald Beener), Son Gordon (Katie) Marchant, Son John W. IV (Angela) Marchant, Grandaughters Jada Dalton, Kadance Dalton, Torrie Marchant, Jaidon Marchant and Myah Marchant and several nieces and nephews.
Starting in the mid 70’s until the late 80’s John worked for Atlantic Bottling Company as a route sales driver. After that John joined Howard/Crawford Trucking as an OTR truck driver and then moved into dispatching until he was no longer able to work in 2004.
John enjoyed bowling, fishing, cooking, Nascar, Kansas City Chiefs football, spending time with his family and friends and his grand puppies, and most importantly, he just loved to make people laugh and smile.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be planned at a later date.
