Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Jesse Brandon Frazier on February 12, 2023. Jesse was 40 years old. He was born on July 22, 1982 to Debi Hawk (Scott) and Audie Frazier in Des Moines, Iowa.
Those who knew him knew he had his own “Jesse way” of doing things. Jesse was a sweet, laid back, honest, loyal, peacemaker with an old soul. He could make anyone smile with his laugh, contagious smile and those baby blue eyes. He loved making memories and living a good story especially with his friends and family. He had a love for treasure hunting, whether it was sheds, mushrooms or just down on the river. He enjoyed camping, fishing and being on the islands- really anything outdoors he would be there! Some of his favorite belongings were his Grandpa Scott‘s blue sapphire ring he wore, collections of unique old finds, rocks, antlers, pictures of wildlife that made him curious of their history and his beloved Crown Vic personalized with a lift kit. He could spark a conversation with anyone and enjoyed taking the time to brighten someone else’s day. Jesse was very creative with woodworking and landscaping which he did for a living but also as a hobby. He loved creating something beautiful with his hands. Jesse took the time and enjoyed the simple things in life. He embraced and lived by the saying “Take time to stop and smell the flowers”. He will be missed by all!
Jesse is survived by his mother Debi Hawk (John), brothers Justin Frazier (Jessica)their 3 children- Elle, Nolan and Mason, James Frazier, Logan Hawk, stepmom Katie Frazier, Grandma Scott and many aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by father Audie Frazier, Grandparents Frazier, Grandparents Payton, Grandpa Scott and his much-loved Rottie, Dollar.
Jesse’s family would like to thank all medical personnel/staff at Broadlawns Medical center and Mercy One Main for all care and support given to Jesse and family during this time. Also thank you to all family and friends that helped care and their support.
Family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Jesse on March 31, 2023 at Walnut Woods Lodge from 3-7pm.
