Jeffrey Blaine Bash was born on March 31, 1977, to Vickie Nash and Richard Bash and died suddenly on October 26, 2024. He attended Hoover High School and Grand View College in Des Moines.
Jeff had a brilliant career as a Graphic Designer beginning at the Des Moines Register and ending at GoDaddy with numerous freelance clients along the way. He was a master of his craft assuming many leadership roles and impacted many young designers through mentoring programs in conjunction with Grand View.
Jeff was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed camping and boating with his family and friends. He spent countless weekends at the lake giving his children lasting memories of fun in the sun. Jeff was a great father. He loved to do things with his 3 children. Bike rides to the park and Ice Cream Shop, movies at the theatre, home renovation projects, big family get togethers for all the holidays and spoiling his kids at Christmas.
If Jeff wasn’t with his family, you could find him enjoying a weekend movie with his brother Matt or at Game Day watching football and hanging out with his friends. Football was a major part of his life; Playing it, watching it and being commissioner of his fantasy leagues. Go Cowboys!
Jeff is survived by his 3 children, Kaeden (Ella), Nadia and Quinn. He is also survived by his mother, Vickie Nash, brothers, Rich Bash and Matt Baker, sister Cindy Bash, ex-wife Emily, 9 nieces and nephews, and 2 great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Bash.
Being surrounded by family and friends was very important to Jeff and so we celebrate him with “One Last Bash” at Game Day in Des Moines on Saturday November 9 from 2-5pm. Please wear a plain black T-shirt to emulate the style that Jeff sported on a daily basis.
