Erin Renee Harvey, 38, passed away suddenly on December 1, 2023. She was born on February 12, 1985 in Des Moines, Iowa to Cynthia Renee Hildreth and Dwain Harvey. She only weighed 2 lb 10 oz. and wasn't sure she would make it. She was a fighter though.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Paige Harvey, her grandparents, Bill and Mary Lu Martin, Eldon Young and George and Genevieve Harvey.
She is survived by her two children, Landen Lopez, 10 years old and Xavier Lopez, 8 years old. Her parents Cynthia Hildreth [Gene] Dwain Harvey [Bobbi] her brothers Justin and Chad and her sister Angela stepsister Regina and stepbrother Tyler.
Erin was a sweetheart to everyone. She would do anything for anyone. She loved her boys. She loved country music, selfies, and tacos! She loved having a good time and always had a smile on her face. Erin lived in Texas for about 10 years and had just recently moved back to Des Moines. She hated the idea of driving in the snow......but loved her hometown. She will be missed by all.
She was a member of the Capital City Moose Lodge 2589 for the last 4 years and was beloved by her Moose Family. A service will be held Jan. 6th at First Church of the Open Bible 2200 Beaver Ave at 11:00. A luncheon will follow immediately at Capital City Moose Lodge 2515 Wedgewood Rd. All are welcome to attend. Flowers may be sent to the church; donations may be made to the family for her boys.
