Diane Marie Twedt
July 6th, 1941 -February 3rd, 2024
Diane Marie Twedt, age 82, of Huxley, Iowa, passed away, peacefully, on February 3rd, 2024. She was born to Frank and Mildred McClurg, on July 6th, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa. In June of 1959, she married Paul J Twedt, Sr.
Diane enjoyed her family and friends, the farm and spending time outdoors, in the sunshine, planting flowers and gardening.
Diane was a homemaker, raising her four children: Kelli (Dan) Roberts, Paul Twedt Jr, Derk (Denise)Twedt, and Kila (Eric) Wilcox.
She was very proud of her grandkids: Autumn (Brett) Krogman, Christopher (Sue) Roberts, Brooklyn (Sam) Schmidt, Devynn Roberts, Hunter, Taylor, Shania and Raelyn Twedt, Skyler (Taylor) Olson, Harbor and Ledger Wilcox.
As well, as her great grandchildren: Blake, Chase and Allie Krogman Ava, Lauren Elsberry and Landry Roberts River Schmidt Kennedy and Logan Olson.
Diane is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Moriarty, who she enjoyed visiting with, on the phone every evening.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Twedt Sr, parents Frank and Mildred McClurg, sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Arnold Quick and brother, Scott McClurg.
Private Burial Services will be held with the family alone, per Diane’s wishes.
