Charlene Marie Brayden, 78, passed on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines Iowa.
Charlene was born October 6, 1946, in Rudd, Iowa to Willard and Shirley (Chesnut) Ryner. She grew up and received her education from Rudd High School and later when to DMACC.
Charlene knew no strangers and was always available for a hug. She was a founding member of Grace Church for 40 years. Charlene worked at Enterprise Rental Car and cherished the sense of community she shared with her colleagues.
She will be deeply missed by her children; Joe and Cynthia (Justin) Brayden; grandchildren, Emily Jo and Anthony James Brayden; brothers, Gene and Joel; sister-in-law, Connie; nieces and nephews, Denise, Diane and Greg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Denny.
A celebration of Charlene’s life will be held November 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at Grace Church, 4200 E 25th St, Des Moines, Iowa.
