Beatrice June (Fugate) Essex, born June 20, 1941, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who dedicated her life to nurturing those around her.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Scott) Williams; her grandchildren, Scott Jr. and Brandan (Emily); and several family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Essex; her son, Richard Essex Jr.; and Edward Essex, along with other beloved family and friends.
A cornerstone of Beatrice’s life was her unwavering commitment to her family, beautifully illustrated in the Fugate family book, she created a project that reflected her deep love and dedication. Her focus on faith, family values, and compassion for others inspired everyone who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date, allowing friends and family to honor and remember Beatrice’s incredible spirit and legacy. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who loved her.
