Adelaido Eugene DeHoyos of Des Moines, Iowa unexpectedly passed away early morning on January 13, 2021. Eddie was born to Cleo Saenz and Pablo DeHoyos in San Bernardino, CA on December 1st, 1970. He was a middle child of seven, Paula Delarosa, Brenda Choate, Paul DeHoyos, Mike DeHoyos, Frankie Vawter, and Nayeli Saenz. He grew up in Greeley, CO for most of his life. Eddie had 2 children, Allie DeHoyos and Adelaido DeHoyos Jr. whom he dedicated his whole life to. He also has a granddaughter on the way in month who he was very excited to meet.
He had worked in healthcare for over 25 years and was dedicated to his job and the people he took care of over the years. Eddie recently went back to school and became a Certified Dietary Manager which was an accomplishment he worked hard for and was very proud of.
He loved skiing in Washington and Oregon when he was younger, playing pool, drinking beer, grilling and watching football. Eddie could make anyone laugh on their worst day and was a great man who would do anything for his children. He was a father, friend, brother, and soon to be grandpa who is going to be missed by many.
